Sales down -2.4% from 330 to 322. That's not very dramatic.

However gross revenue down -19.6% from 14680 to 11802. Ouch!

(Best year to date 2016 was 351 for 16798)

Main reason: not adding enough new work due to all sorts of reasons.

Sales down 5% in number but up over 10% in value. Bit disappointing given all the images I have added but a few lessons learnt from looking at others results. Onwards ever onwards.

A happy and prosperous new year to all.

interesting first year.  i'll put this up for other beginners.

Focus on soft news mainly in 2nd half.   12 sales, $248 gross.

lots of lessons hopefully learned .  so as a beginner i am satisfied.

happy new day to everyone...

After 4 years, my sales are still going upwards, and more than doubled sales volume this year, but just barely doubled revenue. Just one $$$ sale (not in Live News):

2019 - 123 sales for $2411

2018 - 50 sales for $1181

This has been my first year contributing to Alamy (I signed up a couple of years ago but never got around to doing anything about it until March/April this year). I made one sale at the end of June and then got a little despondent after that due to a lack of any further sales or even zooms. Since mid August, however, my zooms, and corresponding CTR have been steadily improving so I'm quite pleased and now fairly optimistic looking ahead to next (this?) year :)

Number of sales up a little under 10% (though images on file increased by more)

Actual income down fractionally, due to the reduction to 40% for non-exclusive - gross sales also up 10%.

I expect next (sorry this) year to go up again.

With 2 sales less than last year 2019 was my second highest for licences but my fourth highest year for remuneration despite added images year on year. So 128 sales for the year a 14.5% drop in revenue, and a loss of news feed makes 2019 not one to look back on, and if I'm being honest 2020 isn't one I'm looking forward to either. Bah humbug!

2019 vs 2018:

Port: increased in 50%. All RM and exclusive.

Views: +44%

Zooms: +35%

Licenses: 8 (equal to 2018). Although still waiting for three more detected sales of 2019 that should have already appeared in my account. That would increase licenses in +38%

Sales (gross): -27%

Medium license price (gross): -27%

Sales (net): -7%

Medium license price (net): -7%

Earnings / per number of images / per year: -38%
