850.00 (gross) back in January 2017.  It was my fourth month with Alamy, first photo sold, and I had less than 300 photos submitted at the time.  I came to learn that was an anomaly but it sure gave me incentive to keep submitting.

I've had three over the $1000's.

The first was my second ever sale in 2005 and it was for $ 1216.61

The second which was my highest ever, was in 2013 for $ 1815.98

The third was in 2016 for $ 1023.26

The good old days right enough! By contrast yesterdays license was the smallest I've ever had!

After so many years I think I can mention this one sale in 2011 for $9730 gross - a 12-month worldwide billboard and transit ad - licensed but to this day, never seen. It was super-sensitive at the time because the buyer accepted an indemnity (I still won't go further than that!) and perhaps a reason why it was paid for but never placed.

and a few in the $600+ category, most recently also 2016

Best single sale for me here was $400 for commercial, web, banner and social media. The license was for 5 years but the fine print said 6 months - that was in 2015. I've had a few for $250 as early as 2009 and as recently as 2017, highest this year was $125, for a simple sign taken a few miles from my house. I shoot a lot of editorial. I've had a lot more repeat sellers in the past few years, and have netted over $1,000 from some one-day, or even a few hours' shoots from licenses here, but no single sales in the four figures. I hope to break the $1,000 barrier for a single sale one of these days (best license elsewhere was $750 for one-year exclusive use of an image rejected by several other sites including this one - so you never know what sells).

Well it was $28,560 .. gross!

Then I woke up, made a coffee, logged on to Alamy and found I had made a sale of $18 gross!

But really my best ever was $480 gross for 'commercial brochure' back in 2012.

The dream was good though - almost sexual in it's excitement/intensity value. In the dream I never identified what the image was of - just the amount on my Alamy sales on computer page. Ho hum.

My first and only sale thus far, on Aug. 27th this year, gross: $365. An RF sale. Has cleared and supposed to be paid (182.50) on Nov. 1.

Was shocked when I saw it, but never believed it was going to represent the future.  I keep telling myself it's only a one year advance.  Hope that's not true.  Have had 3 zooms this month, so optimistic for a second sale soon.

You guys keep good records!

I don't recall any sales beyond a few hundred $$$. I still get sales of $100 or so. Understand that I aim all my shooting at editorial, common access subjects. No Live News or signed releases. My pro work was in the Film Era, and Tony Stone was my stock agency. A different time in a different world.

In this case, Alamy has good records too.

I went to my Net revenue sales report; set the start date at 2004 when I joined and after the page loaded, I hit download.

It downloads as a .csv file, which will open in Excel or any other spreadsheet program.

In Excel sort the license fee highest to lowest. You could even filter for years, but I didn't. I'm not very good with Excel.

TS threw me out for not producing enough.
