  1. I'm 51 and a 1/4. But at times I think I'm something else, like when making old man noises when getting up out the chair. Taking photos since less than 10 years old. Being with a stock library since age 36.
  2. Straight to the point....... ....$174 from 9. Zooms were good.
  3. That's because my phone is an old Nokia, about 8 or 9 years old. Still working well...... ie. it makes phone calls and not much else ! I do have a more modern phone tho, but don't use it as a phone ! it's from the US, and I just use it as a mobile computer when away from home, with the free WiFi in the hotel. Times are hard you know..
  4. I find that USofA prices are more sensible too. Not just with Alamy, but another library I am with as well. I also find that Germany is similar to the UK in pricing, both via Alamy and elsewhere. Poor !
  5. Browsing in Waterstones today (UK bookshop chain), I came upon this ! Book cover for 'Unsheltered' by author Babara Kingsolver, published by Faber. Pic of interior/doorways. Credit to Russell Watkins/ Alamy. Think he posts on here sometimes.

  8. Use in a UK magazine. Belmont Row area, a rundown area awaiting development as part of the Eastside regeneration project in Birmingham, UK.
  9. I want to employ Wim. Thanks for the tips and help. I am sure many of us gain from your experience and skill. Now back to improving my keywording... Phil

  11. Thanks Chuck. Let's hope the customers think so too. Phil
  12. Liverpool ....... ...if you haven't already, have a look at the Stanley Dock Tobacco warehouse in the old docks area. Said to be the world's largest brick built warehouse. Derelict when I last saw it. Don't know what's happening to it now. Across the Mersey lies Birkenhead. A once prosperous area, now savaged by de-industrialisation and lack of investment, a shadow of its former self. Worth a wander around the docks area and the old terrace housing estates, then take a trip up to New Brighton for an ice cream by the sea.
  13. Used in Vice magazine..... Neon signs on the exterior of La Bodega Negra. The premises are not a sex club, but a Mexican restaurant & cafe bar. London, UK.
  14. Thanks to Clare for finding one of mine earlier in the week. ........... 15. Thank you. Take enough photos you eventually get lucky !
  16. Hopefully the happy pig won't be made in to sausages.

  18. I'm not particularly proud of my photos, but I do like this one.. (even tho I'd rather the bear be in their natural habitat). Children marvel at the polar bear swimming underwater in its enclosure. Budapest Zoo, Hungary.

  22. Legally, how good is a screenshot to prove use ? I ask as an artist who used one of my images, then deleted the tweet after Alamy contacted them, shouldn't be using my uncropped image for their own creative works (they purchased a presentation licence).
  23. The second sale of this image in two weeks.. ...first a newspaper use, now a commercial electronic use. Taken during a ride in a helicopter with my Dad on his 80th birthday ! View of Chew Valley Lake, a large reservoir in Somerset, that provides the Bristol area with much of its drinking water. Somerset, UK.
