RAAC used in Buckinghamshire school. Students at Waddesdon Church of England School will be taught by a combination of face to face and remote learning until the hazardous RAAC issues are resolved. Live News shot early yesterday morning and licensed same day. RM, 2 sales, low $$ (Church Times) and lower $ (Bauer Media).

Having wandered, by chance, into this bookshop, I raced back to the van for my tripod. I’ve never seen such a profusion of books. The shop, just a bog-standard three or four story building, must have been structurally compromised by the weight of all these tomes, especially when they were piled up in the middle of each room, as well as around the walls. I asked permission to take some photographs, before the owner headed out, on the seemingly needless quest “to buy some more books”. I’ve sold a few pix from the set – and this shot today – maybe to illustrate the concept of chaos…

How many books did you buy? In an effort to save the building of course.

There is one bookshop I sometimes go to here in Australia which is even worse. You can hardly circulate in between the books piled up on the floor. At least it's a groundfloor! Last time I went, the owner was going to ship his surplus books to Papua New Guinea, which I thought was odd.
