  1. A PU sale. Lowest $$ . Non-exclusive. I wasn't greatly impressed with my shot here and marked this image for deletion along with few others. Now this has sold thinking to reinstate this image.
  2. Doug, I kind of see that pattern which Steve has mentioned above. With Alamy from what I learned on the forum and experience is that Quality selective image People doing things Accurate caption and keywords helps to sell. I see good amount of sell-able pictures in your portfolio. Keep it growing.
  3. Repeat seller, 4th time in Alamy. For mid $ One use in a single editorial article used within the digital versions of a single publication. Digital usage includes archive rights for the lifetime of the article

  5. Did some search recently on that and couldn't find an easy way. I ended up partitioning the HD which retained the data, created new partition and formatted in Mac.
  6. It's the same 20 degree celsius here in UK and we call it Summer 🙂
  7. First sale for May $$ . Country: WorldwideUsage: Commercial electronic, Websites, apps, social media and blogs (excludes advertising). Worldwide for 5 years. p.s - No clue on the bad set of keywords there. Fixed it and hope it helps in long run.

  9. Steve, Thanks for your detailed response and I appreciate the direct critics. #1 - I get what you are saying. I need to be more descriptive and provide more details in caption. Much more than what I thought would be enough. I'm slowly reviewing the keywords and will refind them. #2 - I'm taking pictures hastily and rushing rather than working on lighting conditions and move around and use the best of available light. I do see the histogram in camera but not for every picture. The night market stall one is not edited properly in lightroom. To be honest, as you rightly picked all the Marrakech photos are holiday snaps and I removed majority of them from Alamy but is still in portfolio until the 180 days lag time. I realise that I have taken too far many images than required hastily rushing to take pictures rather than taking time and composing better. #3 - Composition comments are understood. Probably again going back to #2 that I need to take time , compose the photos better. Thanks again.
  10. ... I'm back again looking for critical comments. Over the past year, I have focussed more on # Monitor colour calibration (still do regularly using spyder5 express) # More attention to caption and keywords # Trying to include people in shots i.e. people doing things # Editing the picture in detail around saturation etc. Portfolio link https://www.alamy.com/portfolio/gnans Thanks, Gnans
  11. 1. Restriction sign - no-entry 2. Gates sign - Something missed in these isolation days 3. No cycling sign in Brighton promenade
  12. Thanks Mark for the trigger about ExifTool on another post (which I couldn't locate anymore). I have managed to update 1700+ previous files on my Mac now. A good time to start keywording in Lightroom for all future files.

  15. Just came across the search term used and amazed by the details 🙂 "Amateur star gazing at Montgomery College Rockville Maryland observatory using 14 inch reflecting Celestron telescopes"
  16. Serbia, Editorial website, Bulk discount, flat rate - $ 3.14
  17. My daughter helping to transplant the tomato plants.
  18. Thanks Wim. I loved the 8k video. It's a bit dismal to see the Keukenhog garden so empty during the peak season. Netherlands is in my repeat list and hopefully soon.
  19. 😞 Impacting my QC rank is the last think I want to do. It took more than 24 hrs to get past the QC.
  20. Yep. After that test I'm thinking of using more mobile images although not sure what will be the sale % . Easier to carry and easier to shoot at most places. Sometimes the traditional camera gets challenging like my recent ASDA trip where the security approached me and asked to stop as I was taking images of the click and collect storage boxes.
  21. I was skeptical with the mobile images and it went through QC. I'm on the old 3* and have full 3*. It passed QC not one time but twice as I foolishly had the name watermark first time.
  22. A little late to the party. Here are some store empty shelves I managed before the lock down. These were shot on mobile (PIXEL 2XL) and surprisingly passed QC with no issues. ... and the queue last week in superstore when I went to do C&C at 08:30 AM finally, my daughters rainbow picture
