It's been a while since a travel photo sale dropped in, so this was nice to see. U Shwe Yoe and daw moe folk dancer in Anisakan, Mandalay Region, Myanmar.

Actually they were dancing. That’s why they are in a line. It was part of their welcome to us.

Very encouraging!  I am well below my average monthly sales.  Though I have had one $$$.  That always helps!  Hopefully next week will bring my month up to at least par.

It's a very evocative exhibit. I'll admit to looking at each item and and recalling the 60's living rooms of childhood Uncles and Aunties.

 

However...the electric clock does not seem to be in place?

Not arguing, but the clock, electric heater and the TV/radio combo are all nearer to the 1940's.

Fair point, but the fire place, the mirror, the log box, the companion set and of course the bakelite door knob!   Sigh!
