Jamie,

Love your images of the "FireFall"  I've heard about it but never was able to see or photograph it.

One of my favorite hotels in the world is the Wawona at Yosemite.  The Wawona and skiing at

lake Tahoe are the only things I miss about living in CA.

Thanks Chuck! You should definitely try one of these days to witness Fire Fall. It's amazing, though it has become extremely popular and crowded. But once you've found a spot to wait for the phenomena, it's great.

More positivity from across the Irish Sea.  Up until yesterday, for July, I had 3 sales for $352 gross.  I've looked this morning and I'm now on 11 sales for $1,104 gross for the month, to include six $$$ sales!  The good prices are still around.

wrong thread.

On second thoughts, I was reporting a sale of an image I actually spent time researching in measures, designing it, and making a cut-out.

So it's good news that my efforts paid off. 😄

Ok not big news for most but sale 250 just popped in (closely followed by sale 251)

Had a very slow last 12 months (compared to previous years) after a swift beginning but always optimistic for the future.

But that first sale does seem a very long time ago 😉

Hi there,

Not a big milestone for most of you...

Especially considering the time that it took me to achieve it...

But today I passed the one thousand photographs on Alamy proper.

In fact I started with Alamy a long time ago, but didn't really work at it for many years.

Then last year I decided to focus a bit more on it.

Keeping in mind that I earn my living only via photography, but mostly working for another type of organisation.

So what I put on Alamy is my weekends and holidays.

I see it more as a thing to do to keep pleasure in photography and not get burnt out at my regular job.

Attached is one of the photographs that got me over the thousand today:

And yes, strangely, since I started to upload more, sales seems to have picked up a bit...

😉

Have a good day,

Regis
