Freedom riders were a group of African Americans and whites that rode buses throughout the South in the 1960's to force federal enforcement of anti-segregation laws regarding interstate travel. Montgomery Alabama was one of the stops. This was a tribute to those riders. Sadly this display is gone. I found it one day while driving through neighborhoods in Montgomery.
