How was your April 2022?

Recommended Posts

Not expecting any sales on a Saturday. So, good sales figures at 18. But too many low ball editorial website sales leading to what I shall politely call 'middling' fees - $142 gross. CTR ok at 0.72.

Steve

p.s. would be nice to see some sort of positive reporting from someone this month, too many negative threads....! 😆

Not convinced that no sales could come in today...weekend sales have been happening more often lately.  But sure why not.  16 sales for a gross of $886.  Three $$$ helped the average sale get to $55 so I'm happy with that.

OK, I'm going home

April was interesting.  23 licenses for $736 or $32 per image.

The license fees have been improving a small amount and I

would sure like to see them improve more.....

Sales today are unlikely for me too.

I have previously reported my positive experience this month.  Minus this one sale, I had 12 sales for $357/139.  A typical lackluster month.  But I had one sale for $2210/884.  So my month was exceptional:  13 sales for $2567/1024.  I'll probably never see the like again in my lifetime.

April got off to a late start, but it turned out to be an average sort of month with 16 sales showing at the moment (hope springs eternal) for $440 gross. There were a fair number of low editorial website sales in the mix, including two that were licensed twice for some reason. The tiddlers were offset somewhat by several decent upper $$ sales. None of those elusive $$$ sales to report.

I doubt I'll see any weekend sales now, I don't receive many. A few more $ would have been nice to reach $100 gross. Four sales varying from $1.66 to $50.90, total $96.94, average license fee $24.24. Must pull my finger out and increase my port size to increase sales.

24 sales for $402 gross, $160 net.

Not bad in the end after a long dry spell for much of the month. 21 of them came in in the last week. Highest was only $52.50, a US book use.

Better than usual so very welcome. 6 sales for $395 gross. CTR poor at .35. Any advice to get the CTR up?

I would say, keywords etc. , but at those prices, you're spanking me....

6 for $423. Average $70.50. Highest $125, lowest PU at $19.99. All direct. I’m happy enough with that. Part of it was a sale for TV use today, a Saturday, which pushed the total into the 400s.

2 sales = 3.27 total. (I have been over the tier threshold which directly thereafter sales disappeared for months now).  The sales were direct as I am not part of any distribution or novel uses.
