Ed Rooney
I wanted the March 2022 Challenge to be one all of us could enter. Your landmark need not be Big Ben, La Sagrada Família, or that Tower near the river in Paris — although any of them would be fine. It can be what is considered a landmark in your town or village. "In American English it is the main term used to designate places that might be of interest to tourists due to notable physical features or historical significance." As usual, you can submit up to three Alamy images and you have the rest of March to do so. Good luck, people! gvallee
I might be totally wrong but I will extend my interpretation of 'landmark' to 'iconic'. My bad if I'm mistaken. A kangaroo drinking from a puddle in the shape of Australia. Cathedral Rock, a landmark near Kiama, New South Wales, Australia The Esplanade Lagoon at my beloved Cairns, Queensland, Australia

Cathedral Rock, a landmark near Kiama, New South Wales, Australia The Esplanade Lagoon at my beloved Cairns, Queensland, Australia Gen, dear -- I'm going to comment on one of your images. I'm not sure it's a good idea to do so but I want to encourage creative interpretations. Nothing could be more of an Australian landmark than that wonderful bouncing creature, the kangaroo. You turning it into an illustration is an extra thing to applaud. Edo
