Not a result as yet- but pleasant email from Alamy asking on behalf of the client if I would make three of my images exclusive as they have been shortlisted for a US book cover for a $$$$ sum.

Hope it comes off

Congrats - let us know the outcome!

Well, I have to take some comfort from the above reports , that decent sales are still happening!  Mine are still well behind the curve,  both in volume and price! Still, I must live in hope, I suppose!

I had one of these a couple of months ago... $$$$ for an American Trade book cover. Didn't pan out though... ;(  Good luck with yours.

as reported in the "infringement" thread got a nice $$$ net other fee for a web infringement last fall through today.  this would actually be the equivalent of my highest licencing in a while so i think this qualifies as a Positive improvement since last contract change.

one thing to note, is with the above licence i have now so far in 2022 exceeded Alamy's so called average licence, however my median licence is still only $7, which just shows how skewed usage of average is, and i Invite Alamy to use Median instead when discussing people's likelihood how meeting targets.

Remember all those crappy Neuvo Vallarta Mexico image sales for pennies I complained about last year?  Well I just got a sale for a NV image used in a ad campaign: $2210/884.

I think that is my highest sale on Alamy, ever.  Wouldn't it be nice if those came along every year?

Congratulations!

Would it be possible that you got this sale because your ranking improved because of all those penny sales? Or is it just the best ever image of NV on Alamy?

- I just noticed you do have quite a market share 😁.

BTW Neuvo Vallarta Mexico only has 1 image on Alamy. Maybe it's a good idea to include that miss spelling in your keywords 😁.

no search for Neuvo Vallarta in last year (but misspelling still something to cater for)

the impact of penny sales is something i was actually pondering this morning.  would love if Alamy would chime in if data from distributor have impact (i have not seen it), may actually alter my view on distro.
