It makes no sense, I get a great $$$ single use, 1yr licence today (my biggest to date)... compared to the $0.17 unlimited use in perpetuity sale.

Not much makes sense in this industry now.  Congrats on the $$$ sale!

Not a result as yet- but pleasant email from Alamy asking on behalf of the client if I would make three of my images exclusive as they have been shortlisted for a US book cover for a $$$$ sum.

Hope it comes off

Congrats - let us know the outcome!

Well, I have to take some comfort from the above reports , that decent sales are still happening!  Mine are still well behind the curve,  both in volume and price! Still, I must live in hope, I suppose!

I had one of these a couple of months ago... $$$$ for an American Trade book cover. Didn't pan out though... ;(  Good luck with yours.

A $273 direct sale for up to 10,000 prints on tshirt/scarves. That's a new one for me.

Nice one. My first $$$ in 2019 was for similar use and similar price.

As mentioned on the 'How was your February 2022' thread, I had 7 sales for $490.76 on the 28th February - including 2 for £113.

as reported in the "infringement" thread got a nice $$$ net other fee for a web infringement last fall through today.  this would actually be the equivalent of my highest licencing in a while so i think this qualifies as a Positive improvement since last contract change.

Nice Middish $$$ Museum display licence on a Monday morning, resulting in net $$$!  Nice way to start the week, and reduces my gloomy feeling after last week that they only way to get a decent fee now was through infringement.

one thing to note, is with the above licence i have now so far in 2022 exceeded Alamy's so called average licence, however my median licence is still only $7, which just shows how skewed usage of average is, and i Invite Alamy to use Median instead when discussing people's likelihood how meeting targets.

Today's licences have taken my month's total above $1000 gross already, with hopefully more to come. Plus the sun's out. Positive thoughts.

Remember all those crappy Neuvo Vallarta Mexico image sales for pennies I complained about last year?  Well I just got a sale for a NV image used in a ad campaign: $2210/884.

I think that is my highest sale on Alamy, ever.  Wouldn't it be nice if those came along every year?

Congratulations!

Would it be possible that you got this sale because your ranking improved because of all those penny sales? Or is it just the best ever image of NV on Alamy?

- I just noticed you do have quite a market share ūüėĀ.

BTW Neuvo Vallarta Mexico only has 1 image on Alamy. Maybe it's a good idea to include that miss spelling in your keywords ūüėĀ.
