wiskerke
Sybille, thank you for a very successful challenge! And thanks for voting everybody, not just for my friendly orange guy 😁 For the new challenge let's pick a theme that we all know something about: - photographers. Some simple rules: there has to be a person and there has to be at least one camera. Preferably somebody who is using his/her camera. Groups of photographers/people using cameras are fine. People taking selfies are fine even people using their phones as a camera are fine. It's pretty popular with contributors: photographers - 138,101 photographer - 745,207 photographing - 192,526 taking a picture - 49,663 taking a photo - 224,809 selfie - 247,698 photography - 11,382,859 - all results here on Alamy. Maybe a little less so with clients, but there's still quite a considerable demand. (AoA) The rest of the rules are as usual: 3 images per person max; they must be on Alamy; this challenge closes on Monday November 30 at midnight GMT. The poll will be up at some point the next day. Have fun! wim
gvallee
Congratulations Wim, well deserved. And thank you for the new theme because you know what? I have a few images keyworded as you said 'taking pictures', 'taking a photograph' but not tagged 'Photographer'!! Adding it as we speak in AIM. Also, I don't think I'll tag someone taking a selfie as 'photographer'. I didn't think I would have three but I do This one is my granddaughter Is it okay to add a third later and if so do I just edit this post and add it here?
Allan Bell
You could do that. Others seem to just add them in later. Probabley makes it easier for wim if you add it into your existing post. Allan

I was with a group of journalists and while we were given better access to take photos, no flash or tripods were allowed. The was the rule throughout many of the antiquities of Egypt. So a lot of high ISO photos!

Regis
Congratulations on the win, Wim. Here come my three: Tourists taking photographs of manhole cover in Japan: Tourist taking photos of friends and deers in Nara, Japan: And young people taking selfie photographs with bubble tea in Tokyo, Japan: Three photographs representing people taking photographs with a mobile phone... Something that I would never have imagined when I started to take some photographs myself. It is really amazing to see the change in the industry... wiskerke
5 hours ago, Allan Bell said: Well done with your win wim. Is it purely stills photographers or can video photographers be included in the comp? Allan I thought it was the other way around nowadays: all those videographers look like photographers. But why not? Now would they make it to the last 8? Let me share a couple of personal bonus points and possible wildcards: Most photographers in one image; Humour/humor: something funny; A photographer doing something stupid that only we, other photographers, recognize; A photographer doing something really clever. But good images will always trump uhh win over bad ones. wim
