Alex Ramsay
Exactly one sale short of half last year's total sales, at this midpoint of the year - but several hundred dollars short of half last year's total revenue, alas Alex
Michael Ventura
Congrats Alex! I am on pace to meet last years sales and revenue...so nothing too exciting.
Alan Beastall
Same here Alex, half way through and sales are higher and revenue equal to the whole of last year.😃
Steve F
Sales approximately half of the total for last year so on track, although I've added a few hundred pictures to my portfolio... I've already made 3/4 of last years revenue though, so that's pretty good. Edited June 22, 2021 by Steve F
Stokie
56% of last years sales and 47% of revenue. There's still a week to go as well......... John.
Foreign Export
Have the opposite - already passed last years revenue - but have only sold 40% of the number of images sold last year

Russell Watkins
90% of last year's total sales and 149% of last year's revenue. What do I win?
David eastley
sounds like most folk are having a promising first half year. I am 76 % of last years sales and 69% of last years revenue so looking good at the moment, although this month is a bit slow.

Abiyoyo
So far so good for me. Reached the 68% of sales w.r.t last year total and 111% in revenue.
meanderingemu
Number of license and net revenue pretty much 50% of last year. Was actually looking up a month ago, but have hit a dry spell this month.....
Bill Kuta
I'm doing quite well compared to last year, but I think it's pretty meaningless to compare to the full-Covid year. Compared to an average of 2017-2019, I have a little more than half of sales and a little less than half of revenue.
Allan Bell
38% Of last years sales. 51% of last years revenue. Allan
John Mitchell
Not much chance that I'll make it to 50% of either last year's sales or revenue by the end of June, but not too far off. The coming switch to 40% won't help matters, though. 🙁
Betty LaRue
2020 was kinder to me than 2021. I’ve sold more in 2021 but revenue for first half of 2020 was better. Average per image sold for 2020 was $57.75 Average for 2021 is $42.52 in 2020 I had one for $245, and two for $125 in 2021 I had one for $125, nothing higher. Race to the bottom. By the way, the $245 was for a dessert I made! 😁 I just added more dessert images. Not on sale, yet Edited June 23, 2021 by Betty LaRue
gvallee
Compared to the first 6 months of last year, sales volume is up by 23%, revenue up by 11%.
Marianne
Much better than 2020, which was my worst year ever. At the halfway point in 2021, number of sales is 88% of what they were for the entire year of 2020 and revenue is 331% of last year. Average price per sale $74, well ahead of the past few year's average price per sale, even with a couple of $5 sales thrown in. Three $170 sales (one exclusive) in January helped a lot. My best sale in 2020 was $85 (later reversed), so actual highest was $45 - and average last year was $19.88 lowest ever - as I said, 2020 was dismal. Not on sale, yet interesting to see how we each fluctuate from one year to another, and not just because we might be uploading more and that Alamy has more images year on year 2017 has been my best ever year for revenue and income with Alamy, 2018,2019,2020 all showed a decline in income from that year- and now 2021 is reversing that downward trend and could end up being my best year ever. When I look at averages per image sold as you have done Betty I see 2016-35.10 2017-36.20 2018-25.56 2019-25.46 2020-15.10 2021- 43.10 clearly worst average was 2020 - yet that year I sold far more images than any other year just goes to show its not a predictable industry
Marianne
Unpredictability is certainly the name of the game here. At the halfway point in 2019, I expected it to be my best year ever, then the second half of the year most sales were $, so you can never predict how the year will go. Gross sales beat 2018, 2019, 2020 already and net is roughly even to 2018 & 2019, with half a year to go. If sales continue apace it will be a good year. 2020 was my worst year since 2009 when I joined. 2015 was my best year for revenue, wiith 2017 and 2018 just behind (~$100 less gross ~$50 less net). This year could beat them. But I'm not counting my eggs before they hatch.
AlbertSnapper
Revenue wise......on track for worst year since 2013 (currently on 25% of last year's revenue). Licence numbers a bit better (56% of last year's total). Enthusiasm........ nil.
Cal
According to the graph my revenue has just surpassed last year's, but I only got properly going about this time last year. With the 150+ deletions in order and the contract changes I suspect next year won't be as thrilling, but it will be earnings for work already done so that's something I suppose. Graham
Less promising here - so far only about one third of last year’s volume, and revenue. Graham
spacecadet
Oddly enough, down on volume but well up on average and already 65% of last year's revenue. Of course the commission grab will put paid to that. Good job the other gig is out performing Alamy by 6x.
