I've fallen off the cliff!

very slow here too; probably below half the sales I would have expected by this time in a normal April  - probably doesn't help that many of my images are travel-related

Things have picked up a bit for me sales-wise. Still slow, though, and zooms are minimal. International travel images are definitely going to take a big hit. I was thinking today that some of the restaurants and stores that I've photographed in Vancouver probably will no longer be around when businesses finally do reopen. I'm already seeing empty spaces and "for lease" signs.

Hit the bottom here. Don't worry I can see you and you don't have much further to fall now. Just don't land on top of me please.

Not sure whether to laugh or cry!

I've been meaning to watch this, though... :(

only 1 small sale so far, zooms at 4 are the worse since 2009 when I had far fewer images. This after having 3 record months for zooms.

Sales at the other place are normal.

Not being helped by the really slow response of the main site to load and to respond to searches today. Maybe Alamy are doing site maintenance this weekend?

Anyone else seeing the same?

Mark

yes. even though my image count is up as be the Forum, no new images available through search from yesterday's approved upload nor Livenews lapse

I still have some missing. And some random misordering of the uploads, but hey, it'll be right soon enough.

If you have buyer friends who are looking for snaps of empty streets in Liverpool, please send them this way. At the moment, I'm glad that I'm not a normal person with a normal life that includes family and friends and social activities.

The Germans bought one of my Galway snaps this morning. Dunk a Shane.

It's windy up here on this hill. Think I'll just move a bit . . . oops! 😦

Seriously, I once almost fell into the Grand Canyon. It was first light, very early, and I decided to take a picture of myself. I set up a camera on a tripod, clicked the timer, and . . . tripped on my way to the edge.

BTW, folks, I'm giving "haha" rather than just "like" to posts from now on. I figure we need the larfs.

and i am going to leave confused ones because i don't even know how to react anymore...  😷

Ed, that deserves a larf, and it's not in bad taste because you didn't fall off.

That's right. We're supposed to be flattening the curve, not flattening each other. It might make for a brilliant photo, though. 😊

Yikes! That really is a leap of faith. He's an Alamy contributor, no doubt. 😃

That looks more like an microstock initiation test.
