Crikey, rather hope I haven't chosen something inaccessible ...
😟

When I saw the new theme, I thought oh nooo! I'll have to skip the competition, I don't know song titles.

Then I thought about Googling 'song titles'. A list of 50 came up.

Then I thought since it can be any subject, let's search on my 'funny' on Alamy and do a reverse search on Google. 'Song title Pub', etc. It worked.

Great challenge!

Obviously: Bird on a wire. My favorite version from the 1969 album Songs from a Room - Leonard Cohen.

Again pretty obvious: All along the watchtower. My preferred version at the moment: Dylan and The Band from Before the Flood Live in 1974

And one more from that era: Electric Los Angeles Sunset from the 1970 album Zero She Flies by Al Stewart.

2G86F5X  The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face – Roberta Flack

👍

Have to take issue with that one, actually written and first performed by one of my heroes Ewan MacColl, although this is a better song by him, in my humble opinion. Even better sung by Bob Fox.

i think it's great to be honest.  Though i am now more thinking of the title as per not the image, but the Alamy reality like the nickel and dime.

I have an image that keeps getting zoomed for last year, but never licence....  so "I still haven't found what i'm looking for"  😆

😆. very next day, licences for personal use.

for those who don't know the song, there is nothing ironic in any of the lyrics just concidences.

Perfect Allan. Like you, I'm not knowledgeable about a lot of songs but they do tend to come to mind. I knew "wild" must have some songs and most of my images are wild so that one was easy.

I tried using Gen’s method but couldn’t get it to work.

I can't remember how Gen does it but what I do is first put my curser in the post where I want the link to go.  Then I click on the link icon, above, that looks like a chain link.  There, you can paste the url of any site and down below, there is another field, below that, to type in the words you want to say, rather than just showing the raw link.  When you click on the green button that says "Insert into post", the hot link will go where your curser is.

I hope that works for you Betty.

I found this really hard. I have so many albums here, I listen to music all the time. I still found it difficult to link any songs to my photos. I finally got something though, all three songs are from the mighty Metallica, and all from the fantastic black album.

This is a much easier method I didn't know. Will use it from now on. Thanks!
