Colin Woods
Hi All Its time to start the next challenge and with winter looming large here in Quebec, the theme is Cold. Thanks to Chris for the great theme of Harmony last month, there were some very interesting interpretations on that theme. I was lucky to get the photo that won - I arrived at that lake and the fishing family was the first thing I noticed. I got in half a dozen shots and they suddenly got up and left. Too bad as the sunset got better and better. I will post three of mine later, at the moment I am on my father-in-law's old computer which does not seem to want to let me copy image URL. So dig out you Cold pictures and lets go Cheers Col

Colin Woods
I forgot to mention the rules which are as ever 3 pictures per photographer with a closing date of end of 30th November. I will then pick the eight finalists and voting will go on until the end of Dec 7th when the next winner will take over. The pictures don't have to be from Alamy but you do have to be the photographer who took them Cheers Col
losdemas
I felt the cold a lot more than this guy... Getting fed up with the vagaries of loading external images on this forum... EDIT: which, as it turns out are all down to my forgetfulness - I changed the .htaccess file to prevent other Websites loading my photographic content directly (whoops - hangs head in shame). <slinks off to change code>

John Mitchell
"Cold" might not be the first word that comes to mind when you think of Ecuador, but it does look pretty frigid up there atop Cotopaxi Volcano (as seen from Quito).
