May Challenge TWILIGHT

Recommended Posts

A big thanks to Maria for last month's topic, which saw a great number of superb entries. We are now in May and the evenings are getting longer and, hallelujah, warmer. Here in Quebec the summer evenings are gloriously warm, perfect for standing by the tripod in blue hour in shorts and T-shirt. So, in celebration of this approaching idyll, this month's challenge is Twilight. As ever, three photos from your Alamy collection and last entries will be midnight Quebec time on 31st May. Here are three to give you some ideas

I look forward to agonising over the choice of the last 8.

3 from me.

The first one isn't the most glamorous of subjects, but I like the image, plus you can't take that photo again because, due to cutbacks, they've turned the lights out!

Really like this one.

Note: I would have added "silhouette" to the tags.

Thanks Allan, high praise indeed.  :)

I can't believe I didn't add silhouette - what a plonker!

Congrats Colin!

Since I'm headed out to Columbus Ohio very soon for my daughter's wedding I've got a couple from there - hoping for sunny weather this trip:

Gotta love that iPhone on the plane. I don't think I'll ever get tired of taking photos when I fly - there's something so wonderful being above the clouds that makes me feel like a kids the first time I remember being on a plane:
