NYCat
That woodpecker makes me laugh. Paulette I gave him a Dafalgan afterwards Cheers, Philippe I had to look that one up... a Tylenol here. I'd have preferred a Percoset but maybe it would make him too happy to do his hard work on the hardwood.

I know there are a couple at a nearby lake, yet I did not get any decent picture yet. They only spend a few seconds on each tree hopping around it at almost light speed. Really admire Philippes picture and even more since I know how hard they seem to be to get.

gvallee
Woodpecker. I had forgotten. And that one from the same trip. It was great fun sitting on the sledge. It's real blur, not a post-processing effect. Oz this time.

Bryan
Zoomed but not sold as yet. Degree of care required here. Only a proportion of shots get looked at by QC, so it doesn't necessarily follow that any "passed" image, would stand future scrutiny. However I believe that common sense applies, and shots which obviously use blur or limited depth of field for effect should be fine.

hdh
Blurry images, maybe revive this thread as it gives a good idea how far images appear acceptable by QC? One of my favorite recent uploads is the the arc below. Kukkudrill
My take on the blurry train theme: Wish I could have gotten more blur on this one, but I was shooting handheld: I had only a moment to shoot this and the autofocus locked on the birds not the plane, but with hindsight I'm glad it did:
