So many differing aspects to the challenge making it extremely difficult to select a few. As a relative newbie to 'photography for a purpose' I've realised how effective it is to have people in an image to add that important context, so that has had a bearing on my choices. I hope others feel the same.

Some fabulous images. Having done these challenges a couple of times I must say that I found putting up the poll challenging. This one says (bottom right) the voting ends Sept. 30. So I guess you must choose a date for us and let us know. I certainly understand how you might have missed that choice. If you can get back in to edit it the poll will close automatically at the date and time you select.

Thank you for pointing that out, which was indeed an error on my part. I'll attempt to change that to this coming Sunday night, the 8th, which I hope will be a reasonable length of time for all the votes to come in.

I've been on a boat for a few days without internet. Argh! Thanks Avpics for picking one of mine and I have now voted (for one of the people pics).

Well! Thank you everyone. A diverse field as always and I hope to be able to set up another interesting challenge given internet access etc. We've all got a lot going on.
