David Olsen
Those view and zoom numbers are amazing. You really have the Alamy market figured out.
Bryan
Zooms at the lowest hat I can recall for 3 years. Currently standing at 19, from memory the lowest last year was 24. Doesn't bode well for future sales. So many photos to choose from, hordes of imported agency images etc, survival of the fittest I guess.
Broad Norfolk
Zooms stand at 15 for me for month to date so far. This is about my average if not slightly above. Edited January 20, 2019 by Broad Norfolk Hit wrong button.

gvallee
Sales are slow this month, as statistically expected, but zooms seem on track: Jan 2018: 72 Jan 2019: 52 so far Gen
Alex Ramsay
January 2018: views 7016, zooms 58 January 2019: views 5845, zooms 61 Views down a bit, but no statistically significant variations as far as I can tell Alex

Colblimp
I could care less about the number of zooms I get - sales is all I'm bothered about. My zooms have always been low, but I'm happy enough with my sales numbers.
John Mitchell
I had five new zooms show up today, so perhaps the January dough is starting to rise.
Marb
Mine are so low you have to be a professional limbo dancer the get under them. And to see these poor stats, you have to wade through captchas every time. Why oh why do we get these everytime we enter our account and then once again for the forum ? totally unnecessary WE WANT A KEEP SIGNED IN FACILITY! KODAKovic
As said by others zooms are not relevant for statistics. Alamy has not benefits explaining how they works and which customers are going to use it so Alamy will never tell the algo to us. Simply don't take care to this waving behaviour
andremichel
Another day of zero zooms from 650 views. My concern is that this points to even worse sales 3 months later.

No zooms means zero CTR means images fall to bottom of searches means no sales

My zooms have always been low, but I'm happy enough with my sales numbers. It is sales that are the final arbiter. I am 99% a live news shooter so I do not expect lots of zooms. With millions of photos on Alamy and, it would appear, a frequently changing algorithm, it is almost impossible to separate the noise (randomness in some people’s definition) and signal to carry out meaningful analysis. Alamy is right, keep taking quality pictures that the customer wants, and accurately keyword. There is no secret.

KODAKovic
As someone already pointed out, zooms are "interactions" of just specific buyers so increase/decrease of zooms absolutely says NOTHING about a certain ph portfolio
