Ed Rooney
1 hour ago, spacecadet said: It will be tricky for me to find anything in this category because I don't use the term "old" to refer to people! Buildings, town, cars, yes. but not people. I resist the term. As I just found out, Mark, I don't use 'old' in my tags either. I use senior and elderly. But I refer to myself as old with pride. 89 last November -- yikes! 1
Rebecca Ore
My older people doing things: Seamstress threading a serger, Jinotega, Nicaragua. Old woman's hand petting her old dog. My British nurse friend hates having her face photographed, so this was what I could get. The old dog stopped someone from rushing her a couple of months before he died. Two old men looking at an old Ford Model A at a Scottish Heritage Festival in Virginia. Edited February 8 by Rebecca Ore third photo.

Colin Woods
Does nodding off on the sofa count as "doing something". My dad conked out after playing with the grandchildren. A grab shot of my parents at the pub. A half-stop over flashed, but I just had the grab the camera and shoot before they realised that I had my camera out. My dad performing hair-clip adjustments on my daughter. 3

Betty LaRue
12 hours ago, NYCat said: Thank you! Paulette Happy Birthday, Paulette! I had my 83rd December 2nd. Maybe that’s what drove me to pick this subject. We’re not ready for mothballs, yet, & I love to see the old, the seniors, the retirees, the elderly (whatever one wants to call us) being active or just enjoying life. I can see from all of these stellar images that I’ll have a very hard job ahead of me. 😩🧐 Keep ‘em coming, folks!

(Some of the Singer sewing machines in use on the streets of Bangkok look like earlier models than the one my mother had in 1958.)
