Images Sold in July (one per day per contributor)

Recommended Posts

Pleased to get a sale early on in the month. Sold to Australia. You’d think they have enough wineries there!

Zoomed a few days ago and the first of my Chile photos to sell. Not a huge amount though.

My first one for the month, $$. It's a Silverlined Mudskipper - these fish can live out of water and often wander around on wet rocks and sand. They're very cute, but it's hard to keep the camera dry and clean when crawling around to get a photo. They're also very quick to dart away so a long lens is needed. I used a 300 + 1.4 for this.

Country: Germany
Usage: Magazine, Editorial print and digital use. Any size.inside.One time use only.
Industry sector: Media, design & publishing
Start: 02 July 2018
End: 02 July 2028

Oh how I wish I could limit to one a day. lol ;)

Sales come in waves for me. Sometimes I get 3 a day, then nothing for several days. Don't despair!

First sale of the month, and in keeping with the Australian theme, also to an Australian newspaper. First time to I've sold to an Australian newspaper (or anything else to the Aussies come to that). Has Alamy just opened an office down under?!

Maybe a bunch all reported on the same day?

That one's here, but I've had images in here go for a lot more and the licence details were "magazine" not newspaper.
