gvallee
For the November challenge, I have chosen another nature theme: trees. I can be entire forests, rainforest or temperate, single trees, or a close-up of bark. Rules are as usual: 3 entries per person, photos on Alamy. Closing time 30th November midnight London time (11am my time eh eh no need to stay up ) Examples from my own portfolio: Good luck!

TeeCee
Wonderful challenge. I have a theory that trees -- not us -- are the most evolved beings on the planet (witness the current US presidential election ). No arguing with that. Colin Woods
Nice subject, three from me Dandenong Forest, one of the highlights of Australia from me - hand feeding wild parrots. My wife sat under a tree reading at sunset - Lake Illiwarra also in lovely Australia And dropping seventy degrees centigrade or so, trees covered in snow here in Quebec, in the Parc de la Gaspesie. John Mitchell
Wonderful challenge. I have a theory that trees -- not us -- are the most evolved beings on the planet (witness the current US presidential election ). No arguing with that. So how do we get your Giant Guapinal tree into the Whitehouse...? Good question. Wish I knew the answer. A giant Guapinol (spelling corrected) tree in the White House would certainly be vastly superior to a Giant you-know-what. Fingers crossed. John Mitchell
Since we're on the subject of trees, I thought I would pass this along. It looks like an interesting book, a must-read for tree lovers. Here's an excerpt from the book (nice photos too).
