Rather troubling that it's under a CC licence. That might give the impression that the images are covered by that licence- I don't see how they can be. Unlikely that anyone would cut images from it for reuse but the publisher could be in real trouble if they did- especially if any of the photographers has taken the trouble to do a US copyright registration.
