Manchester, UK, 12th February, 2022. Protest about high energy bills organised by Manchester Trades Council and Manchester People's Assembly - Austerity Cut it Out.  Protesters assembled in Piccadilly Gardens, central Manchester, UK, before marching through the city centre. Protests are also taking place in other cities in the UK. Organisers say: "Fuel bills are due to rise by another 54% in April, at the same time that National Insurance goes up. RPI inflation is already 7.5%. Rents and interest rates are rising". Credit: Terry Waller/Alamy Live News.      Just into $$.  We wait to see if we get a rapid fall in inflation in the UK.

Young people lobby for action to prevent climate change at the  Manchester Youth Strike 4 Climate protest on June 21, 2019, in Manchester, UK. The group marched from St Peter's Square in the city centre to the University of Manchester. One of their demands is for the University to divest itself of investments in fossil fuels.   Worldwide Usage: Single company - multiple educational editorial use only Industry sector: Media, design & publishing. Mid $$. We have some lively demos in Manchester and climate change is a theme that seems to sell, especially if a decent placard text is visible.
