Licenced today, mid $$… Inside the ambulance is Boris Johnson’s shredded reputation, heading for the knackers’ yard with a ‘do not rescusitate’ order…

I think that the forum can do well without political bias.

Well, with a majority even of Tory voters delighted to see the back of him, what it can't do without is humour........especially today.

Not sure i see bias, regardless where you stand, being thrown out by your own party has to damage anyone's reputation.

I'm always amazed when I watch British crime dramas (a particular favorite of mine) that your police drive such high end cars. It makes sense in a chase but here most police cars are far from fancy.

Looks delicious.

Hadn't thought about that. They probably are edible. I'll have to consult a French cookbook to see if there's a recipe. 😋

Inspector Morse's old Jaguar and Vera's beat-up Land Rover are notable exceptions.

I just laughed so much my wife asked if I was ok. After hearing why, she joined in too!

Jaguars and Land Rovers (even the base model) are very expensive here. But Morse and Vera have gotten their money's worth indeed! Of course most cars these days cost what our parents probably paid for their first house (parents born in the 1920's & 30's, that is).

My point was that this forum is, generally and fortunately, free of politics. May it long remain so.
