there must have been CTR data recovery overnight...?

upon further review

there appeared to be a single searcher

that zoomed (48) of me hotel images

so maybe no CTR slaughter yet &

no CTR data recovery although

this morning's CTR was hellishly low

I hope I don't get more naughty points

for hellishly as I recently got 3 permanent

naughty point for, AFAICT, a British slang

that rhymes with banker & has no meaning

to me but apparently has a value of 3

permanent naughty points.  So I advise

staying away from that word whether or

not one is familiar with its meaning...

Maybe you should stick with your own American slang and terminology.  Not everyone here is British but we all seem to understand each other okay.

as an 🌍 anglophile 🌍 who knows practicing worldwide vernaculars
& later employing them to trigger salable photo opps & thereby
maintaining FULL TIME stock shooting status, that tip is problematic

It is quite odd that the English daily vernacular contains more swear words than adjective these days, with literally scores of meanings depending on how they are annunciated BUT the unwritten rule is probably (?) that we never write them down :+)

We are an overly complex peoples :+)

Some chaps with whom I play golf have vernaculars limited to 🤬 ONLY 🤬 swear words...

You can't write about an obsolete rotary engine design? 😉

A general question to anyone: Does watching a pot boil make it heat up faster or slower or no effect? How does watching and tracking historic CTR, change my sales and income? Up or down? After the fact.

No immediate effect, but can give insight into result of making major changes (e.g. submitting new CSV of keywords) to large portfolios (as I suspect FocusUno's other portfolio is). Making changes that increase zooms suggests more customer interest and hopefully more sales will follow. If CTR% also improves that may also be good if/when Alamy ever restart the contributor re-ranking process leading to improved image placement in search results. But, it's a very slow boiling pot where it's hard to spot statistically significant effects of changes unless you have a large portfolio.

It doesn't make it boil any faster, but if you watch it for three hours and it's still not boiling, you may start trying to work out what you're doing wrong.

Maybe there should be a rule about not being allowed ten times as many forum posts as images online?

or maybe just a rule about people having multiple anonymous 'personalities' (for want of a better word) on the forum

Seems to be coy about answering this one? Am I alone in finding the OP just a bit irritating.
