Many thanks Bryan. Second use in The Times for this. It seems once they get hold of an image, they often use it again.

Spotted a few of my news images on there, too.

I found one of my news images from a couple of days ago on this website https://englishheadline.com/cupboard-cut-up-over-coronavirus-resort-quarantine-plans/. The Daily

Mail used the image, so looks like they have lifted it from there. News aggregator site? They appear to be using some kind of translation software; not sure why, the site is in English.

Example, they have replaced cabinet  (as in the government) with cupboard...

There are so many such sites out there that it could have travelled via a foreign language site and then re-lifted to an English site.

I thought I’d read on here previously that they didn’t/couldn’t go after scraper sites so there was no point? I had something similar a while back, a clear duplicate of a daily mail article with all the content and images from it. Kept a note of it but never reported it as I didn’t see the point.

Re scraper sites, that's my belief too. Earlier this month an Indian English language scraper site lifted a Guardian article that featured an image of mine. Oddly where the image should have been it was just a white box, but still credited to me and Alamy. Two other non Alamy agency pictures displayed. Was the same in different browsers, and also when using my VPN for India and other countries, odd.
