May's Challenge - The Thrill and Joy of Sport

Recommended Posts

This is wide open to any sport, be it pro, amateur or even family/friends fun. As long as it is a recognizable sport...not just just playing around.  I want to see the fun, the thrill, the challenge of sports.  I am not a sport photographer but I have some below to get the thoughts going and you don't need to be a sports specialist to enter.  Please submit up to three and they must be yours and on Alamy!   Submissions will close May 31st at midnight GMT.

Is it your browser? I dragged and dropped my three above in Chrome/Mac OS.

Thanks Colin. Yep you popped up while I was trying a new browser. I forgot, Safari doesn't work anymore for drag & drop, only Chrome. But when I tried dragging in a second photo (I tried 4 times!!!),  my post disappeared and it got plugged into the internet ether. But at least I can post. Thanks for answering!

This is also sailing - but please let me know if it's permissible Michael.

It is the US tall ship Eagle, the US Coast Guard training ship for cadets. Here they are furling the sails before to docking In New London, Connecticut after a regatta. If this isn't "sport," since they are cadets, although they were part of a regatta made up of both Naval ships from around the world and "regular" folks on their yachts and other boats when this was taken, let me know, and I'll chose something else. Thanks!

Well that didn't work

If all else fails, go to your image in AIM, right click on the enlarged image, select "copy image location" and paste it into the forum. I do it if drag-and-drop isn't playing nice.
