Perry
Funkyworm just sent me a link to the Rough Guide to Amsterdam 2016 - February 2016. He had found Alamy images inside, looking for his own. (For the Dutch Dacs: Pictoright.) I have found 2 previews so far, and even 2 images of mine (1 tiny and 1 small), but no photo credits. No idea how he found his, I cannot replicate that. He's in Cuenca, Ecuador without access to the forum and without the possibility to reset passwords. (Plus a case of Montezuma's Revenge it seems.) So here are the first links I found, both have previews: Rough Guides: http://www.roughguides.com/shop/rough-guide-amsterdam/ Amazon US: http://www.amazon.com/The-Rough-Guide-Amsterdam-Guides/dp/0241198585#reader_0241198585 So no photo credits yet. I've checked the articles on the RG website as well, but there the images that have credits are all from Picfair and Photopin. Which as a I just found out has free images. Mostly rubbish, and some sponsored ones by a very big micro. RG did manage to find some decent ones, but also one of Bruges Belgium to illustrate the Amsterdam Begijnhof. Oops. Funky just sent a way to get to the credits. No page numbers and no images I'm afraid. These are the names in the credit list, no cut and paste available (Google Books): ANP Chris Harris EggImages epa european pressphoto agency b.v. Frans Lemmens Horizons WPP Iain Mastertom Janice and Nolan Braud JLBvdWOLF Ken Welsh Kevin Galvin Leroy Arthur Neil Farrin Perry van Munster Peter Horree Stefano Ravera Stuart Black Stuwdamdorp Tim Gainey Wiskerke Yadid Levy Funky seems to be able to read here, just not write. wim Thanks Wim and Funkyworm,I spotted myself in the list. Did found it in Google books. With other Alamy contributors. Although it does not say to which photo it refers. https://books.google.es/books?id=PMneCgAAQBAJ&pg=PT429&lpg=PT429&dq=perry+van+munster&source=bl&ots=oo31TWoT8F&sig=_fZ1_V8M8OJcuNJeADt6YQIYuzQ&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwij9uqQ1pzLAhUGWRQKHTrzDjk4KBDoAQgbMAA#v=onepage&q=perry%20van%20munster&f=false Regards Perry
Adie
Aiden Clarke spotted this photograph of Bleinheim Palace (Photographer: Ben Ramos) in The Guardian in an article written by Maev Kennedy about a Capability Brown festival marking 300 years since his birth. The estates of Blenheim, Chatsworth, The National Trust, English Heritage and London's Historic Royal Palaces are all taking part in the festival. http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2016/feb/26/capability-brown-festival-trees-lakes-gardens
