Spectacled Flying Fox or Spectacled Fruit Bat (Pteropus conspicillatus).

Several thousand recently dropped dead from the trees in town centre due to the heatwave.

Beautiful photos. The flying fox looks like a dinosaur! So sad they are suffering so badly from the heatwave.

Upstream from the more famous High Force in Teesdale is Blea Beck Force near where the Blea Beck enters the river Tees. Co. Durham, UK

Taking the Metro into Newcastle I glanced down at the river as we crossed -  sunshine and perfect reflections! Got off at the next stop and walked back to take a series of shots. e.g.
