Spectacled Flying Fox or Spectacled Fruit Bat (Pteropus conspicillatus).

Several thousand recently dropped dead from the trees in town centre due to the heatwave.

The Lions are always an inspiring sight, especially at this time of year when they're covered in snow.

Beautiful photos. The flying fox looks like a dinosaur! So sad they are suffering so badly from the heatwave.

Upstream from the more famous High Force in Teesdale is Blea Beck Force near where the Blea Beck enters the river Tees. Co. Durham, UK

Taking the Metro into Newcastle I glanced down at the river as we crossed -  sunshine and perfect reflections! Got off at the next stop and walked back to take a series of shots. e.g.

After a few tough months with 3 operations between hubby & I, we are soon to be off to our favourite slice of Paradise for some diving. So I dug out a photo from one of my favourite dive sites.

Nice one Bryan. Never an easy subject this one as you're almost always shooting into the sun. Good amount of water coming down as well. One of mine taken in summer conditions:
