John Gaffen
This morning, I reached my target of 5000 images, passed Alamy QC, key worded and placed on sale in my portfolio! It has taken me the best part of ten years to achieve this number! Well hears hoping the next 5000 do not take quite as long!

John Mitchell
I too hit the 5000 mark this weekend, which I believe is roughly equivalent to one JG submission. It only took me about 7.5 years.

John Gaffen
Thanks again Guys, 5000 seems like small beer, compared to the size of some of the portfolios here on Alamy! But, I'm still pleased to have reached this number thought!
Bryan
I suspect that my regular monthly payments began around the 5000 images mark, although a better appreciation of what sells, not to mention the crucial reduction in the financial cut-off, probably occurred around then too! Onwards and upwards John and John.

John Mitchell
My latest sub would have got me there but it looks like I'm in chokey again. Sorry to hear that. After a bout in the "chokey" (hasn't happened for quite a spell, touch wood), I usually submit small batches of 6-12 images until I get myself back on track.
