Anorak" /ˈænəræk/ is a British slang term which refers to a person who has a very strong interest, perhaps obsessive, in niche subjects. This interest may be unacknowledged or not understood by the general public. I was mostly kidding around but I have to admit that I cringe at those photos before I start wondering if the only men in the UK are the funny-looking ones. I guess we should be careful not to get carried away with this but I bet most of the guys here are pretty darn good in their attitudes towards women. Each part of the chain has to take responsibility for the end result. Alamy does not accept 'glamour' ( whatever that means) as stock - but shots of women wearing bikinis or topless on a beach unaware that their photo is going to be used for profit seems even more sleazy and creepy to me.
