Absolutely - and I have taken and sold similar images - and in the same location.  My image similar to the one of Twyford which is on the web page listed is very similar to Greg's (I also sold one taken 50yds down the road ;) )

sign-at-centre-of-the-village-of-twyford

Mine is also older!  But...he probably got there first and constantly updates his locations ~every 3-4 years (I've been watching him ;):lol:)

I'm pretty sure that he'll revisit this precise location again in the next year or so. So (as well as other stock) he covers many small towns across the south of England covering general views which are used predominantly as secondary editorial - and in high demand: his name has appeared in these threads countless times!

Regular buyers will doubtless know his name and know that he provides reliable contemporary views of urban/suburban towns and villages predominantly in southern England...and so he sells - consistently.  He's found a good little market and does it well: good luck to him!  Anyone could do it but he has! (mind you, I don't mind snitching a few of his sales every now and again :D:lol::D)

What's also slightly annoying is that I used to drive through that junction twice a day, five days a week for about 3 years! 🙂

There's definitely a market for shots that show places 'in a good light'. Nothing special happening, just a regular day; maybe one or two people window-shopping (rather than, say, chugging cans of strong lager). It's not as easy as it looks...

That shot also has sales potential I would say.. if you can get it without being punched (one brand of strong lager is known as (where I'm from at least) wife beater for a reason....)

Thank you for spotting this one!

Just when the new city council has removed the iconic slogan, because it was deemed to egotistic. I Amsterdam, get it? No the rest of us neither.

The whole neighborhood has protested the removal and when asked, the majority of people in Amsterdam wanted it to stay.

But the new green/left council majority insisted on making its mark.

Contrary to popular belief it has not been scrapped and will make appearances elsewhere.

The one at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is still there and will remain there, if only because it's not in Amsterdam 😉

No cyclists at the airport though.

Thanks again!

The citizens of Amsterdam must have hard heads -- I don't see any bicycle helmets. They are mandatory here in Vancouver.

The highest rate of cycling and the lowest in head injuries. Excellent cycle infrastructure coupled with tough laws protecting vulnerable users ( cyclists and pedestrians) mean that it is safe to pedal in Amsterdam without a hard hat.  Britain please take note. Apologies for drifting well off topic, but it's something I am passionate about!
