Thanks Allan.

BTW I actually laid some concrete last month. Should have taken some snaps of that, I suppose. It's pink nowadays, not grey, unless you pay extra. CO2 and all that.

PINK concrete!  Sure you didn't pick up a ladies bag?

All our concrete is still grey.

Ladies' bag:lol:

No, the standard stuff you get at Wickes now has some furnace slag in it instead of Portland cement, which makes it pink. Not baby pink, more of a terracotta.

I had to hammer out a patch of the drive to get the garage door open, then fill in the hole. I called it "lowering the Atlantic" (thanks Lew).

The rest of the drive is still grey. With a lovely crackle finish.

Hmmm! Terracotta! Now that could be useful. Don't know what for but let me think about it.

'Ladies bag'... OK. But calling someone a 'furnace slag' is simply unacceptable...  :P

Yesterday I found one of my images in an article about why men take photos of their wedding tackle.

The photo is of an aubergine.

Thank you for brightening my Monday morning - you have just made me laugh

"Photos of their wedding tackle"???

I'm almost afraid to ask what that is. So no idea how it relates to an aubergine! :D
