Gary Clarke
A slightly unusual publication find perhaps: Piers Morgan's Twitter feed this evening makes for interesting reading - bit of a spat between him and the owner of UK Tripod manufacturer 3LeggedThing regarding Morgan's use on Twitter of image Alamy image G29AAD (contributor David Betteridge) complete with Alamy copyright watermarks. According to Mr Morgan it's okay as he's just told 6.45M people where to find it to the benefit of the photographer (who he knows). It would bring a huge amount of publicity and further raise the awareness of copyright abuse with the general public. Sitting back and letting it happen sends out the signal that it's OK by them (Alamy) and that anyone can get away with whatever they like.
