Michael,

That is my image,  I am the only one that photographed Bryukhanov in his

Kiev Apartment when he got out of jail.  This image turned up on Wiki as

Creative Commons, I have copyrighted this image and had a huge argument

with Alamy about a license they did over a year ago.

I would appreciate you giving me a call, I am going to look you up on Google

Now.  My mobile number is easy to find.

Thanks,

Chuck Nacke

Just credited Alamy. Clearly yours.

edit: very small b/w: https://expresso.pt/podcasts/desastres-naturais/2021-11-06-Viktor-Bryukhanov-o-bode-espiatorio-do-acidente-de-Chernobyl--1935-2021--5562ba27

The page would just be too short to mention all:

this link will probably work.

M.Lee Fatherree is not on Alamy. There is a James Fatherree with very few images. M.Lee Fatherree is a photographer from the Bay Area specialized in art and artists. Just wrongly credited by the Post I would say. We don't have a subscription any more, so I cannot view the page. Hah! Not true I can visit this one: https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/obituaries/viktor-bryukhanov-dead/2021/11/02/b581780c-3bd9-11ec-bfad-8283439871ec_story.html

which has a correct attribution.

Yes, it looks like The Washington Post printed a bum credit....I should have caught that since the photo I posted did have Chuck Nacke’s credit on it.

Thanks J-F. I normally don't check this thread as I'm rarely in it, I must have had a hunch.

Sorry to all for "Overreaccting"

Chuck

May they all pay for your image, though!

All those Russian language ones seem to have nicked your image from this place: https://www.facebook.com/ChernobyltheZone/photos/1578694939137042

Long "Funny Story"  made a lot of new friends tonight around the world.

Will be talking with Allsworth in the morning and will work it all out.

Long complicated story, Michael was a great help.  All I am concerned

about is my "Copyright"

Chuck

PS  Thanks Wim

Sounds a tad risky to me or am I being over cautious? $$ fee doesn't really compensate if someone decided to object. What do others think?

French Bulldog Credit: Alamy (too many)

While the labrador is still top dog in the UK, the Kennel Club reports that the French bulldog, above, owned by celebrities including David Beckham and Madonna, is No2

Yorkshire Terrier Credit: Alamy

Over the same period, registrations of the Yorkshire terrier – once the UK’s most loved dog – have fallen 88 per cent and it is now the 59th most popular breed
