Your contributions here have been extremely valuable to many here over the years. Seems that Alamy are in the process of doing an awful lot of self-harm recently. You've spotted a few of mine recently, which I'm grateful for (not live news of course - I'm relegated to the second division too!). I'm sure your early morning efforts are appreciated by many of the contributors - it's a real shame Alamy are so unappreciative of their long-term contributors, especially those like yourself. Fraid the Live News debacle has reduced my enthusiasm for spotting photos, so won't be contributing so much in future. Your disillusionment is all too understandable and the loss of your contribution to the images found forum is a significant blow to us all. Alamy seems to have chucked out a lot more babies with the bathwater than they perhaps anticipated, and your valuable contribution is just one of them. Shame, Alamy, shame, especially since the degradation of Live News was almost entirely of your own making. I will pore over the pages of the print edition of the Times when I pick it up later in the day and see if I can spot anything Alamy, but I can't pretend to match the prompt and and comprehensive service you have provided us for so long. I hope against hope that your heart will soften and occasion your return to the task, even if it is not what than Alamy deserves.
