Keywords case sensitive?

Greetings, folks, I'm new here and have a question:

 

Are Alamy keyword searches case sensitive?

 

I hunted around the previous posts for the answer without success.

As I understand things, Don, they are not case sensitive. Do a test with two comparative searches on the Alamy home page. Me, I use upper and lower case on proper nouns, like Germany, but using germany would make no difference in a search. I just hate the way it looks.

I use upper case in the caption as it looks more professional, but in the keywords, everything is in lower case.

Unless you are dealing with legal proceedings the keywords are not case sensitive. Depends a lot on my megalomania that specific day.

Thanks for replies. I'm somewhat old-fashioned about capitals where appropriate, but very glad not to have to bother with them in keywording.

I sort of capitalise my keywords like Ed for much the same reason. but i am Not consistent - it depends on the state of my OCD at the time

I never capitalize ocd in my keywords.

I use caps in keywords, appropriate and looks better to me....

I use caps in keywords, but that's because I didn't know they weren't case sensitive.   Now I do. I can save some wear and tear on my little finger.
