Thought that might be the case, thanks Sally.

Just had some time on my hands earlier and thought I'd have a delve deeper into the BBC website.

I noticed that PA Images are credited with more than 6 million images but the individual photographers don't get a mention on the Beeb.

Ah yes, Times2 is not normally an area of rich pickings for Alamy shooters, but the odd one is used.

 

Also the Times website is dynamically updated throughout the day, so some pictures are removed while others arrive, although that doesn't normally apply to Times2.  I sometimes wonder if all of the photographers get a payment when their image might only be used for a few hours.

I only found it because I went out to buy the print version since I had another photo in it (not in online version) and accidentally discovered it as I leafed through the pages. Yes, I’ve had images used then replaced by something else later that day. Reporting from The Times has improved somewhat I think recently.
