Just been sent a link by a friend of what I am 99% sure is my shot https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/breaking-devizes-fire-man-arrested-

However I show nothing on my dashboard and cannot remember how live news sales show up (having never made one before but I know people have talked about it) - anyone know how it works?

Oh goody

I suppose I better remember to keep an eye on it lol

If it was used within a 2 day period of you uploading it, it qualifies as Live News, but if it was used after this period it is a stock sale.  If the former, you have to wait 4 months before reporting it to Alamy (assuming it hasn't been reported by The Mirror before then), and if the latter, then the wait is 3 months. Don't expect a big sale, though, whichever it is.

Oh it was used within hours of it going up by the looks of it - definitely a lives news job.  (and a bit of surprise to be honest)
4 months from Christmas should be easy to rememeber lol.  Have no fear about expectations - I would just appreciate getting more then 99c which is what my sales have been so far.

The web news rates aren't great - though certainly an increase on 99c - but if one of them has made it into print then you could be looking towards three figures

Thanks Kay - had not spotted those.

Wish it had a happier ending.  Not getting celebratory about these - glad they were picked up but  bummer of a story.
