bobdabiulder
Hi! I just joined Alamy as a US based contributor 1-2 days ago. The website seems nice, they claim to have a couple(kidding, more than 2mil) million stock photos, but I still have some issues, so I'll put them in bullet points; If Alamy is so big, why do they have so few US based reputable clients? Dailymail.co.uk uses them, but few others do. Compared to [redacted], which seems universal in size and scale, Alamy seems basically like a small company (Chrome even marks Alamy as a typo!!) What are your average sales? I'm not asking price, that might be too much, just average sale volume (eg. 1000 licenses/month) With (supposedly) 90 million images, how do mine ever have a chance at being discovered? Just like YouTube and many other growing platforms of this size and scale, discoverability seems impossible.
