Matt Ashmore
I think Alamy QC would have rejected this straight away! :-) http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-35457135
Michael Ventura
Well it could have passed if marked as digitally altered.
Bill Brooks
Alamy would have rejected the image. Alamy runs the best QC in the world and would have rejected it, not because it was photoshoped, but for substandard photoshoping.
Matt Ashmore
Well it could have passed if marked as digitally altered. Don't you get to tick 'digitally altered' when you are keywording the images.. i.e. after the they have been through QC? I agree with Bill.. the image is so obviously altered. Ace
If you scroll down the page on the BBC link, I'm not sure the Teletubbie would have got through either ;-) What do you think ?
Jill Morgan
Alamy does not edit content, only technical quality. Plenty of creative photoshopped images on Alamy. Jill

Jill But I guess they would have to be done properly, without any spurious artifacts! Of course, but that is a technical issue. Only those good at combining images should attempt to upload. Joseph Clemson
Truth to tell, it would very likely have got past Alamy QC if it was part of a batch of images because Alamy only ever check a small sample of each batch, and it may never have received a close inspection. A reminder that Alamy trusts its submitters to be professional (as well as honest) in making sure all submissions meet the high standards required. I can see sharp parts in there even though it is an image of a moving subject with included flare. Allan
