I'm not sure that this would have got past Alamy QC..

Alamy does not edit content, only technical quality. Plenty of creative photoshopped images on Alamy.

Of course, but that is a technical issue. Only those good at combining images should attempt to upload.

Truth to tell, it would very likely have got past Alamy QC if it was part of a batch of images because Alamy only ever check a small sample of each batch, and it may never have received a close inspection. A reminder that Alamy trusts its submitters to be professional (as well as honest) in making sure all submissions meet the high standards required.

???? Alamy promoting this on Twitter......where it states it was taken in 2008????? What part of this is 'sharp'?

 

 

Just looked at image. I can see sharp parts in there even though it is an image of a moving subject with included flare.

Weeeel, funny you should mention that, my run of bad QC luck did change last year when I got new specs.... and switched to RAW.
