andremichel
Hi everyone, I wonder if this has only happened to me this month. I have been averaging more than 20 sales per month for more than a decade now, including this year. Last month I had 24 sales. However this in June, I have only had 1 sale reported at a gross value of $2. This seems statistically implausible without something having broken down in the reporting of sales for my account. Is everyone else seeing normal reporting activity?
Steve F
I have noticed that sales seem to be slower at the start of the month generally. 7 sales so far this month, which is about average for me. Might be best to wait until the end of the month, you could always get a late flurry of sales between now and then (fingers crossed). But also curious what others say. gvallee
9 so far, so seems as per usual. However the overall general trend is definitely on a downwards slope.
Doc
Hi Andremichel - hope you are keeping well, apart from the Alamy hassles! Sales for me this month appear to be working normally. Best Kumar

andremichel
I don't know if it is related, but all my zooms data has been wiped out too. Alamy measures is currently showing zero everything.

Betty LaRue
My sales are actually better in number (not price) so far this month. But take heart…I have a few horrible months now and then when I get nothing all month until the end, then get a few that “might” total $35-50 if I’m lucky. John Mitchell
Reporting does seem sluggish but I'm limping along with 8 sales, which is about average for mid-month. Dashboard totally non-functional at the moment (10:00 AM PDT).

AlexH
I am having a very similar experience. A collapse in all the usual level of reporting and activity and then the other day one sale popped up but reported a week or so late. Coincidentally also for around $2.

Robert M Estall
I've got half a dozen sales reported for about $300 which is pretty OK for the way things are these daya. But CTR & views are all completely flat. Update shows as 29 May Edited June 19 by Robert M Estall

Betty I'm sure we both hope everyone got out of Dodge & didn't ignore clear warnings; Cascadia is a crap shoot, its a game of Russian roulette; every day another seismic chamber is tested; every day rationalizations arise from illogical reasoning; regardless, please, those that can: take photos now of Cascadian Culture !! preserve its memory for future generations before it becomes a memory like Pompeii... We actually heard Mount St Helens blow her top all the way up here in Vancouver. That's one of the scarier earthquake warnings I've read. Who knows when "The Big One" will happen, could be next week, might be a century from now. Vancouver is protected from the open Pacific by large Vancouver Island. Still, a Tsunami would no doubt cause significant flooding and damage. Our place is sitting on fairly high ground, but that's no guarantee. Metro Vancouver, home to almost three million people, is definitely not ready for a major earthquake, and developers keep building taller and taller buildings, which they claim are quake-proof. However, I wouldn't want to be standing next to one when all that glass starts shaking. Guess I need to pack an umbrella if I decide to move to Feeder Band Land. ⛈️⛈️⛈️ Edited June 19 by John Mitchell

geebee
Getting back to the original topic of this post. There does appear to be a problem with the reporting of sales. My sales for this month are also way down on the usual numbers however yesterday when measures was temporarily working I had 3 image sales attributed to the 18th of this month, none of which have appeared in either my sales report or sales history, my wife who is also an Alamy Photographer had 7 sales reported for the 18th June, none of which appear in her sales report or sales history. So there is obviously something wrong with the reporting of sales. Graham

I got nowhere trying to convince "Contributor support" that there is a problem. Chantelle insists it is just normal fluctuations from month to month and not a collapse. I did get a couple more tiny sales appear on 19th and 21st, giving me a total of 3 sales, total gross amount: $5.08 ($2 net!) This compares with my 12 month high point of $889 gross from 25 sales in November 2023.

Roy Waller
Hi andremichel, No you are not on your own. I only have a small portfolio compared to yours but my average sales per month have been increasing ever since I joined Alamy. Year to end April '24 average 4 per month. Jan-end April '24 average 5.75 per month. Since the end of April, zero sales. A complete collapse. CTR 1.5.24-25.6.24 1.38. It just doesn't smell right.
