Took this image about a year ago.  I know it's not that great of an image but for some reason, I really like it.

I like it too. Love high contrast black and white.

#2 from me

This gentleman is playing a carpenter's saw. I guess you could say that his music is on the cutting edge.

You are so sharp John :)

Sorry to be dense, I'm new to this, I'd like to take part. It's a great way to share our work. But how do you put your images in a post?

When I click on the image option on the toolbar it asks me for a URL.

Does that mean I have to put the images online somehwre first? Or is there a simpler way? Direct from Alamy?

Hi, yes you can do it direct from your Alamy collection.  Just click on one of your selected image so you get a bigger view, then right click & select "copy image location", then in your forum post, click on image icon and past your image location (URL) into the box that appears. Job Done :D

I can't insert an image and it won't allow me to erase my post. I was going to post an image from my Alamy images of the colorful guitars. Maybe I'll figure out how later.

OK, so why not follow the directions and post it?  It looks like a good shot.

Not sure what you have been doing wrong. I'm on a Mac and when i right-click or control-click I get choices that include "Copy Image Address". I did that and in my post I clicked the little box that is in the approximate middle of the icons -- sort of green. When I was asked to put in the URL I pasted it in. Nice shot.

I've been trying.

You're not the only one. The images I'm trying to upload (following the instructions) are on Alamy, and I keep getting the message saying "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community".

Yes, that's it. Thank you very much, Paulette. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Don't feel bad Pierre. Paulette just explained how she did it and it still doesn't work for me.

I cannot get Internet Explorer to attach files, but if I switch to Firefox I have no trouble doing it.

Thank you, Dick. I am using IE so that may be my problem. I'll try Chrome when I get home.
