I did a bit of digging on the back of your update and found this from three years ago in relation to the print edition back then; Times proposes closure of Ireland edition with potential loss of almost 20 jobs - Press Gazette This quotation was interesting “People think journalism costs nothing. If you want to support journalism, you have to pay for it.” Maybe newspaper owners etc should substitute "photography" for "journalism" and perhaps the chicken has come home to roost.
