  1. Past hour
  2. I had one to Serbia, Distributor 40%, Alamy 30%, small change for me.
  3. The guide was supposed to be available this April. I sold several front covers of tourist guides so far and normally reported dates in the sales account are the same of the publication month of that correspondent tourist guide. I checked also on Amazon where future guides due to come out even in one year are reported but nothing so far.
  4. It could be that the guide book has not been published yet. Often these things take a while to get through the planning stage before hitting the shops/internet
  5. Trying through Google Image search was the first obvious thing I did but no results till today. Never thought about a travel brochure as normally the report would use that voice and not tourist guide.
  6. Today
  7. Had a couple of very small sales in recent months, but today I see this River Tees panorama sold for $260. I've put a call in to my yacht broker in Bermuda telling him I want an upgrade ๐Ÿ˜€ Country: Texas Usage: Indoor display Media: Trade show/promotional display Industry sector: Entertainment & Leisure Print run: 1 Image Size: up to 1/8 area Start: 25 May 2019 End: 25 May 2022
  8. Just a few days left to enter your images into this months challenge. Some great images already in. Have a good Easter. Alan
  9. Please let us know the result of your conversations with Alamy. Something smells fishy.

  11. You could try a Google image search to see if the book cover is indexed but you'll probably never find it unless you're very lucky. It may not even be a retail product, it could be a travel agent brochure or a customer destination guide.

  13. Last November this sale popped up into my account and since then I tried to discover which tourist guide got that front cover image of mine on the net but my search was unsuccessful till now. Tried to see on Lonely Planet, Moon, Fodor's, National Geographic. Nothing. Image was not refunded as I get paid a couple of months later. Any help? The image is EEF9CM. 14. Edited my first post to add more details. The sales are all identical except different countries! (We are opted out of both Slovenia and Czech Republic.) Seems dodgy to me! Unless Alamy can explain this satisfactorily Iโ€™m opting out of all distribution before the end of April.

  16. Same for me too, except Slovenia rather than Czech Republic, low $sale.

  18. The eBay MBP would be under resourced with just 4GB memory. My opinion is running High Sierra requires 8GB for everyday use, 16GB for as you would likely use it. Good that it has been upgraded with an SSD, but on small side. My wife uses the same MBP but with 16GB and a 500GB SSD and for her use is very happy with it. They have two common issues that can crop up. The hard drive cable can fail, less than a tenner from eBay, and with age the display hinge screws loosen causing the display to become a little floppy. To tighten the display it has to be removed, then the clutch cover, then tighten 6 torx T6 screws, easy. If you were to buy, don't upgrade the OS to Mojave, performance will drop.
