Niels Quist
It depends of the nature and purpose of the photo. Most at Alamy will be RM and with the logos, I think. Mine at least.

Niels Quist
I think this arises from microstock. I remember removing tyre names and logos on vehicles' front screens before I got wiser. Which I am glad I did. (Would probably have been recognised by the design anyhow).
Guest
Should we remove or blur Logo's in Images ? For RF or if the image is released, then yes...remove logos and any trademarks (addidas stripes etc) for commercial use. For RM editorial, don't bother. spacecadet
Images featuring brands sell all the time. In my case, about 15% by volume.

Michael Ventura
I had a sale in 2014 because of a visible logo, it was of a man in a third world country wearing a hat with a USA corporate logo and it was for an article about the U.S. culture being found anywhere around the globe. In the keywords, I did include the corporation name and the word, logo.

fotoDogue
If you remove a logo then the image should be marked "digitally altered.'
John Mitchell
RM and make sure you click that you have no property release. That's what I do. I figure that clients can always blur or remove logos if they want. Not really necessary, though, for RM.
Ed Rooney
If you remove a logo then the image should be marked "digitally altered.' It's been a long time since I've removed a logo, but I do say digitally altered. But . . . when I pick up cigarette butts or candy wrappers I don't. I consider that spotting.
