Thanks Simon - yes, got lucky with the clouds this time - I've tried the local wind farm several times before, but on most other attempts there's been clouds around that part of the horizon!

My goto shot is St Michaels Mount., but 75% of the moonrise times there's a layer of clouds in the way 😞

Just wondering, how many contributors whose images we find here would prefer that we didn't post the actual photos and restricted the find to the Alamy code?


I very occasionally do so, but only if I regard the shot as being exceptional and unlikely to be copied. I have a concern, that run of the mill images, which might be bread and butter earners, could be easily copied. Ok, it's possible for anyone to drill down and take a look, but I suspect that doesn't happen very often. 🤔
