Hi Liam,

Congrats on the sales, but my suspicion would be that you will be lucky to find out where exactly they have been sold; try google images or tin-eye; but the huge majority of images found in this thread by the stalwarts of Images found are in UK publications, particularly newspapers in the UK

Cheers!

Kumar

Hi All

You people that hunt down all of Alamy sales do a grand job I only wish that I could find some of my sales from time to time, I always look through Google images and Wayback but have turned up a blank, so I am turning to you guy to see if you can track down a couple of my latest sales the are BEJNA9 and C3EKDG.

I thank you in advance.

Liam

Liam

In my experience there is minimal chance of finding where your images have been used. You should try Google image source, and Tineye, but I doubt if you will have any success. You might also try Googling your pseudo and the word Alamy, some  publishers provide both. You might get lucky.

There might be more charitable characters around here than me ( almost certainly thinking about it  ) but, knowing what's involved,  I don't have the time to look for individual's photos. It's much easier to identify who took a photo found within a publication.

Hi Liam,

I feel your pain. That's exactly why I contribute to this as often as I can, as payback for when Michael Ventura found my sale in the Washington Post for me. I used all of my tricks, four different techniques, but alas, no luck. I tried "your name/Alamy", tin eye, ?? javascript, and a Google image search. So sorry Liam. I'm wondering if they ended up in print only and simply aren't on the Internet. It's too bad we don't get to know who the purchaser was. At Getty Images they do tell us who bought each one. I bet people wouldn't be as upset over lower revenue if they could start knowing who the buyer was. Wouldn't it be great to have bragging rights to say you had a photograph in National Geographic for example. Imagine if you did, and you never even knew it.
